A lone bike rider follows a road that stays steady while the world around her explodes into wrong colors, a journey from the familiar into the unknown.

Sushmita Mamillapalli (she/her) is a Canadian writer who finds beauty in the chaos of the mind. Living with bipolar disorder and having walked through the fog of psychosis, she writes from the space between reality and reverie. Her stories weave fragments of grief, love, and haunting introspection into quiet acts of resilience. Through her work, Sushmita invites readers to see madness not as fracture, but as another language of being alive.
