Editor’s Note:
I am so honored to read and display these writers’ works for FLARE‘s inaugural issue. It makes me genuinely so happy to hear that many people are excited about this magazine, whether that means to submit, read, or learn from others’ experiences! The world needs more awareness about what it’s like to deal with mental health struggles, be disabled, and/or be chronically ill. I can only hope that we can learn and grow in accepting everyone! I hope you enjoy this issue, and please be sure to spread the word about FLARE and this issue by word of mouth, social media, etc.
If you feel like donating to our GoFundMe page, this is to (hopefully) pay contributors someday! Even just sharing this page would mean a lot!
If you’re feeling really generous, EIC Kelly has a tip jar!
Sincerely,
Kelly Esparza
Editor-in-Chief of FLARE Magazine
