“Of the Barb-Wire or Verbal” is an intricate piece slowly crafted using thin linework while “Fusion” is a more intuitive piece representative of the artist’s intertwinement with scoliosis.

Sara Jorgensen (she/her) is an art educator for grades kindergarten through eighth. A lifelong artist, she is dedicated to inspiring and cultivating young artists. Diagnosed with severe scoliosis at a young age, Jorgensen had spinal fusion surgery on the majority of her spine as a teen.
