Created with GIMP

Art Technique: GIMP

Artist Statement

Edward uses GIMP to create work, especially since it is open source. He starts with a blank digital canvas, then finds ways to use traditional techniques, adapting them as best he can and as best a fit as can be done in a digital landscape.

Edward Michael Supranowicz (he/him) is the grandson of Irish and Lithuanian/Russian/Ukrainian immigrants. He grew up on a small farm in Appalachia.
